Asus ROG Ally review: Windows makes this difficult to recommend

Plagued by Windows-related problems and quality control issues, the ROG Ally is a fantastic device that's hard to recommend currently.

Portable gaming handhelds are really starting to take off following the advent of the Steam Deck, and one of the most hyped introductions so far has been the Asus ROG Ally. It has a few differences from the Steam Deck that make it an exciting prospect for those who want a more powerful alternative, with a Ryzen Z1 processor, a 120Hz IPS 1080p display, and native Windows support.

Casetify's Hong Kong themed case for the Pixel Fold. 1
Casetify Pixel Fold case review: Adding some much needed fun to the foldable case scene

If you want to slap a case on the Google Pixel Fold while adding a dose of personality, Casetify has plenty of options.

Google's long-awaited foldable, the Pixel Fold, is now on sale. While the phone's stainless steel construction gives it a premium and sturdy in-hand feel, most consumers will likely want to protect their $1,800 investment by going with a case. Last month we compiled a list of best cases for Pixel Fold, including usual players like Spigen and DBrand. All of those cases offer great protection, but almost all are solid colored, and many have a masculine, rugged armor look. In fact, this seems to be the trend for foldable phone cases. A look at our best cases for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 also shows mostly black Kevlar cases that look like they were made for Bruce Wayne.

Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i (2023) review: An affordable everyday convertible

Lenovo's latest budget convertible comes with solid performance and battery life wrapped in a design that features some premium elements.

4
By

The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5i is one of the company's latest endeavors in making an affordable convertible laptop, and it checks all the boxes you'd expect. The 13th-generation Intel processors are fast and efficient in delivering great battery life, and the screen is decent, if not overly impressive. It also has a nice design, with an aluminum top shell that makes it feel more premium than it actually is.

Alienware x16 review: Powerful performance in a striking design

The Alienware x16 is powerful enough to run all your games, with plenty of RGB to show them off.

Alienware is one of the biggest brands when it comes to gaming laptops (and desktops), and for good reason. The brand, owned by Dell, has built up quite a reputation for delivering powerful performance and featuring an instantly recognizable design language. Although, Alienware laptops, like many gaming laptops, are known for being unwieldy. The Alienware X series in 2023 is meant to take things even further by packing powerful performance into a more compact chassis.

NZXT has just cemented itself in the audio game.

Are you tired of using audio equipment from brands other than the companies you already rely on for peripherals, PC cases, and other components? So is NZXT, which is why the company is launching (or re-launching, if you've been following its audio developments) the Relay hardware ecosystem. It consists of a 2.0 speaker system, subwoofer, headset, and mixer with headset stand that you can use to use them all together. Each of these can be purchased individually to create a truly custom audio experience that caters to your specific requirements.

HP E45c G5 review: A true dual-screen solution in one monster monitor

HP's E45c G5 is a 44.5-inch super ultrawide that's designed to be the only office monitor you'll ever need

4
By

HP's E45c is a 44.5-inch monitor that's designed to fill the role of dual 1440p (QHD) monitors with few compromises. It's built for home and office work, accommodating the hybrid lifestyle that many have fallen into in the past few years. The E45c goes beyond the ultrawide norm, offering a 32:9 aspect ratio and a dual QHD (DQHD) resolution that works out to a crisp 5120 x 1440 pixel count.

Asus ROG Strix Scar G733P review: Showcasing the power of AMD Ryzen 9 and Nvidia's RTX 4090

Configure the latest Asus Scar 17 with an AMD Ryzen 9 and Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090 for an unmatched gaming experience.

By

The best gaming laptops available today have the very latest and greatest AMD and Intel processors, as well as capable graphics processing from Nvidia. We're adding the Asus ROG Strix Scar 17 (G733P) to this list after in-depth testing to see just how powerful this combination of internal components truly is. Inside this sleek gaming machine is an AMD Ryzen 9 7945HX processor with a whopping 16 physical cores and 32 threads, capable of boosting all the way up to 5.4 GHz, at least on paper.

G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5-7200 review: Superfast RAM for Intel CPUs

Just when you thought G.Skill's Trident Z5 DDR5 RAM couldn't get any faster for a while.

In order to get the most out of the latest AMD and Intel processors, it's important to give careful consideration to system memory. The best DDR5 RAM is recommended for Intel chips and is a requirement for AMD ones. G.Skill makes kits for both platforms, supporting Intel XMP and AMD Expo. These are essentially manufacturer-configured overclock profiles to boost the speeds of the memory modules and improve overall system performance.

Sony WH-1000XM 5. 1
Sony WH-1000XM5 review: Great looks and sound, but too bulky

The Sony WH-1000XM5 has a new design that looks more premium than its predecessor, but it's significantly bulkier

4
By

The title for best wireless headphones has mostly been fought between Sony and Bose in recent years, with Bose's QuietComfort series holding the crown in the late 2010s, then Sony snatching it with the universally acclaimed WH-1000XM4 in 2020. Sony did not sit idly by for its follow-up, the WH-1000XM5, which got a complete redesign that gives the headphones more of a premium, Apple-like aesthetic. However, the design compromises on practicality, and there was even a controversial decision to tone down bass output.

A front profile of the Dell Latitude 9440 2-in-1 1
Dell Latitude 9440 review: One of the best laptops I've ever used

The Latitude 9440 has a striking design, a unique keyboard, and great software, which will be great if you can afford it.

4
By

After using the Dell Latitude 9440 for a month, it was hard to go back to using any other laptop. Against a Microsoft Surface, a Lenovo ThinkPad, an HP EliteBook, or any one of the best business laptops, Dell's Latitude 9440 is something special. Sure, ThinkPads might be rated as some of the best for their durability and versatility, but they're just straight-up boring. The Dell Latitude 9440 brings a fresh new take on a flagship and premium business laptop.

Shargeek Retro 67W GaN Charger review: Throwback look with futuristic capabilities

Chargers mostly look the same — unless you have the Shargeek Retro 67W Charger. It's in a class of its own.

4
By

Purchasing a wall charger has become more of a necessity these past few years thanks to many of the best phones not coming with one included in the box. Then you have to factor in how devices can charge at different wattages. So buying other chargers is always a good idea. While there are a lot of great fast chargers on the market, none look as cool as the Shargeek Retro 67W GaN Charger.

Asus Zenfone 10 review: The best small smartphone gets even better

Asus is back with the new Zenfone 10 to try and retain the best small phone crown. Little has changed, but what has really matters here.

4
4
By  and

Small phones are hard to come by nowadays, with the best options for consumers basically being the regular Samsung Galaxy S23 or one of the smaller iPhone 14 devices. However, the Zenfone 8 started a trend of Asus prioritizing small phones, so last year's Zenfone 9 stayed smaller than both Samsung's and Apple's offerings. Despite rumors to the contrary, the Asus Zenfone 10 retains that smaller 5.9-inch form factor. You won't get any flashy or new features, but you'll get a standard smartphone with a nice design, decent camera, and excellent performance that won't take up a lot of space in your pocket.

Lenovo Legion Tower 5i (2) 1
Lenovo Legion Tower 5i (Gen 8) review: The gaming desktop I've always wanted

The Lenovo Legion Tower 5i is a great gaming desktop for those who want a pre-built but customizable PC capable of 4K gaming, and anything beyond

4
By

For eager PC gamers who don't have the time and patience to build their own gaming desktop, the Lenovo Legion Tower line is an excellent product to consider. I love laptop gaming, but I have always been enticed by Legion desktops for a few reasons. Like other pre-built rigs, they offer plenty of value and some features that you see on more premium custom-made systems, all without the need to build it yourself. You get ARGB lighting effects, the latest RTX graphics, plenty of Intel or AMD CPU power, and some small levels of customization should you want to upgrade your system later on.

Huawei Mate X3 in the hand 1
Huawei Mate X3 review: Impeccable hardware for enthusiasts only

The Huawei Mate X3 is a showcase of cutting-edge hardware craftsmanship in the foldable space. But several factors make it a tough sell for many.

4
By

The Huawei Mate X3 is a hard phone to review. On one hand, it has the most impressive foldable hardware I've ever seen— and I've tested every single foldable phone ever commercially released. Speaking purely of hardware, it makes the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 look a generation behind. But the Mate X3 is also missing easy access to services used by billions of people on Earth, and it's priced on the highest end of the mobile phone spectrum. Due to the latter two factors, the Mate X3 has no chance of being anything other than a niche enthusiast phone in regions outside its native China.

Google Pixel Fold review: An impressive first attempt

Google's introduction into the foldable world is here, and it's almost everything I could've hoped for.

4
By

The Google Pixel Fold, perhaps the most anticipated piece of hardware from Google in a long time, is finally here. While the recently released Pixel Tablet has been another device that's garnered a fair bit of excitement, it's this foldable that's gotten tech fans in a frenzy. Sure, folding a functioning display in half is really cool, but it's also the first in this growing category from Google, with the hope it would bring fan-favorite software, a different shape, and Pixel's photography prowess into the space.

ESR Geo Wallet Stand attached to iPhone in landscape 1
ESR Geo Wallet Stand review: More than meets the eye

ESR might have made the perfect MagSafe wallet with Apple-certified Find My built-in. Oh, and it holds cash — sort of.

4
By

We all use a wallet of some kind, but what constitutes a wallet has evolved a lot over the years. I remember at one point carrying one that held not only my cash and cards but also a checkbook. Nowadays, some people don't carry a physical wallet at all, and instead, opt to use a digital option like Google Wallet or Apple Pay. For those times you need to have physical cards with you or just prefer them, there are plenty of slim options out there, including some wallet cases for your phone. But the new ESR Geo Wallet Stand is so much more than that.

Lenovo L32P-30 Monitor on a desk with blinds in the background 1
Lenovo L32p-30 Monitor review: A great 4K budget gaming monitor with some small flaws

The Lenovo L32p-30 Monitor is great for gaming and content creation, but the awkward stand and the hard-to-reach ports make it a bit troublesome.

4
By

Let's face it, buying a new 4K gaming monitor can be expensive, and sometimes, you end up with a monitor that doesn't quite fit your setup. Paired with a great gaming laptop or a PC with a great graphics card, some of these monitors just end up looking like they're for gaming only or for work only. And another set of those monitors can push past a $400 price tag. Well, the new Lenovo L32p-30 isn't like that at all. This gaming monitor from Lenovo is affordable, looks modern, and can be used for any task.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (Gen 8) review: A business convertible without compromises

The convertible ThinkPad X1 Yoga has now entered its eighth generation. Is it worth the high asking price?

4
By

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga, now in its eighth generation for 2023, can be viewed as the convertible counterpart to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon. It's one of the most premium laptops that Lenovo has to offer, with an eye-watering starter price that doesn't get any more reasonable as you add performance and features.

Motorola Razr Plus 2023 1
Motorola Razr+ (2023) review: The best clamshell foldable right now

Samsung, take note. The Razr+ is a major improvement for clamshell foldables simply by using a larger outside screen.

4
By

After inexplicably making last year's Razr a China-exclusive device, Motorola is bringing the Razr line back to the U.S. and other international markets. And there's good news: The Razr+ (2023) is a polished and eye-catching clamshell foldable that makes the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 look outdated. Of course, the Flip 4 is almost a year old, so it's not the most direct comparison, but the Razr+ is the biggest challenge yet to Samsung's dominant grip on the foldable market in the U.S., all thanks to its much larger cover screen. If you've ever been unsure about this kind of phone, the Razr+ is a great place to start.
