ESR Geo Wallet Stand attached to iPhone in landscape 1
ESR Geo Wallet Stand review: More than meets the eye

ESR might have made the perfect MagSafe wallet with Apple-certified Find My built-in. Oh, and it holds cash — sort of.

By

We all use a wallet of some kind, but what constitutes a wallet has evolved a lot over the years. I remember at one point carrying one that held not only my cash and cards but also a checkbook. Nowadays, some people don't carry a physical wallet at all, and instead, opt to use a digital option like Google Wallet or Apple Pay. For those times you need to have physical cards with you or just prefer them, there are plenty of slim options out there, including some wallet cases for your phone. But the new ESR Geo Wallet Stand is so much more than that.

Lenovo L32p-30 Monitor review: A great 4K budget gaming monitor with some small flaws

The Lenovo L32p-30 Monitor is great for gaming and content creation, but the awkward stand and the hard-to-reach ports make it a bit troublesome.

4
By

Let's face it, buying a new 4K gaming monitor can be expensive, and sometimes, you end up with a monitor that doesn't quite fit your setup. Paired with a great gaming laptop or a PC with a great graphics card, some of these monitors just end up looking like they're for gaming only or for work only. And another set of those monitors can push past a $400 price tag. Well, the new Lenovo L32p-30 isn't like that at all. This gaming monitor from Lenovo is affordable, looks modern, and can be used for any task.

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga (Gen 8) review: A business convertible without compromises

The convertible ThinkPad X1 Yoga has now entered its eighth generation. Is it worth the high asking price?

4
By

The Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Yoga, now in its eighth generation for 2023, can be viewed as the convertible counterpart to the ThinkPad X1 Carbon. It's one of the most premium laptops that Lenovo has to offer, with an eye-watering starter price that doesn't get any more reasonable as you add performance and features.

Motorola Razr Plus 2023 1
Motorola Razr+ (2023) review: The best clamshell foldable right now

Samsung, take note. The Razr+ is a major improvement for clamshell foldables simply by using a larger outside screen.

4
By

After inexplicably making last year's Razr a China-exclusive device, Motorola is bringing the Razr line back to the U.S. and other international markets. And there's good news: The Razr+ (2023) is a polished and eye-catching clamshell foldable that makes the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4 look outdated. Of course, the Flip 4 is almost a year old, so it's not the most direct comparison, but the Razr+ is the biggest challenge yet to Samsung's dominant grip on the foldable market in the U.S., all thanks to its much larger cover screen. If you've ever been unsure about this kind of phone, the Razr+ is a great place to start.

Peak Design Everyday Case for Pixel 7a review: A case meant for accessories

Peak Design's Everyday Case for the Google Pixel 7a is only great if you plan to use it with the company's other accessories.

4
By

While most case manufacturers usually try to provide appeal in the form of looks or protection with their products, Peak Design has gone with a different approach. It's been creating cases that look good and provide solid protection, with a slim, sleek form factor, but each case also features an inset square that is used to offer compatibility with other Peak Design accessories, like charging stands, mounts, and wallets. The company's Everyday Case for the Google Pixel 7a is no different.

Cherry KW X ULP review: One of the sleekest mechanical keyboards on the market

Cherry's latest business keyboard is sleek and stylish, but the high price tag makes it hard to justify.

4
By

Cherry is undoubtedly the most famous maker of mechanical keyboard switches, but I had never heard of the company's own-branded keyboards until the recent launch of the KW X ULP. While I mostly associate Cherry switches with gaming, this is a keyboard for business and everyday use, and it actually looks super sleek.

Google Pixel Tablet review: The best Android tablet experience ever

Google finally optimized Android for widescreen devices, which is great for the future of Android tablets.

Apple products are quite successful in all their respective product categories, but the most dominant Apple product is probably the iPad. Ever since its introduction in 2010, the iPad has led the global tablet market share, sometimes accounting for half of all tablets sold worldwide. Android tablets never could catch up in sales or mainstream recognition despite attempts by just about every major Android phone manufacturer. Google too tried its hand at the tablet very early in the game with a series of Nexus tablets, but they were budget offerings that lacked polish.

Surface Pro 9 with 5G review: Windows on Arm keeps getting better

Microsoft's Surface Pro 9 with 5G comes with a Qualcomm processor, giving it Windows Studio capabilities and great battery life.

4
By

In 2019, Microsoft introduced the Surface Pro X, the first ever Surface Pro not to include an Intel processor. Living side-by-side with the Surface Pro 7, Surface Pro 7+, and finally the Surface Pro 8, the Redmond firm decided this year that Windows on Arm is mature enough to merge the two brands. The Surface Pro 9 with 5G is the first product from the mainstream Surface Pro lineup to include an Arm processor.

Dbrand Grip case review: Peak protection and personalization

The perfect case doesn't exi-

It's easy to get overwhelmed by the sheer number of cases that are available for smartphones and other gadgets, and I get it. Part of my job is to search for the best cases for popular handsets, be it an Android phone or the latest iPhone, and there are just too many factors to consider. Not all cases guarantee the best fit and finish or damage control, and too many sacrifice style for protection. So if, like me, you prioritize those two aspects of a case over other specialty features, then I can't recommend Dbrand's Grip case enough.

NZXT C1200 Gold 1
NZXT C1200 Gold review: Plenty of clean, reliable power for the latest GPUs

Power your PC with NZXT's latest ATX 3.0 PSU.

4
By

NZXT hasn't been in the power supply market for very long but the company is already releasing yet another batch, manufactured by Channel Well Technology. Today, we're looking at the new NZXT C1200 Gold, a 1,200W 80 Plus Gold-certified power supply with full support for ATX 3.0 and PCIe 5.0. The latest graphics cards can be connected to this PSU with ease thanks to the included 600W 12VHPWR connector. While not every GPU on the market will be able to make use of this powerful connector, it's good to have it available for potential system upgrades.

Mac Studio with M2 Ultra review: For creative professionals only

Apple's Mac Studio with M2 Ultra is one of the most powerful and efficient computers on the market. But do you need this much power?

4
By

There's been some snark in the tech community lately about Apple products using the "Pro" naming convention a little too liberally. For example, the differences between the MacBook Air and Pro mostly come down to a fan that rarely gets used. That's why it's ironic that out of all the Apple products, the Mac Studio is the one that does not get the Pro branding. This machine, particularly the M2 Ultra version I'm testing, is for real creative pros, like producers at NBC who have been using a 2022 Mac Studio to create Saturday Night Live intros every week for the past year, or Los Angeles-based Air Studio, which uses the same computer to mix Hollywood movie soundtracks.

Windows 11 version 23H2: Everything you can expect from the next big update

Microsoft is preparing the next big update for Windows 11, with features like native RGB controls and Windows Copilot.

4
By

Windows 11 is in a constant state of flux, getting new updates on a regular basis to improve the experience. The first big Windows 11 update was version 22H2, which came around last year, and since then, we've been getting smaller Moment updates that add new features and capabilities. The latest of those is the Moment 3 update, which was released in June 2023. But we're already looking at what the future holds, because the next big update, Windows 11 version 23H2, isn't too far off.

Bark Phone review: An excellent phone for kids with an odd way to get it

Bark is well-known amongst parents for its excellent app to keep kids safe on their devices, but now it has a phone of its own.

4
By

Bark is known as the go-to app for parental controls for kids' devices, and the Bark Phone is its first all-in-one solution. I have reviewed many of the best smartphones for kids and smartwatches for kids, so although I've never used the Bark App myself, I was interested in checking the new phone out with my two young kids.

OnePlus Nord N30 standing upright. 1
OnePlus Nord N30 Review: A decent but unremarkable entry-level phone

The Nord N30 could be had for as low as $269. I suppose I can't nitpick at this price, but OnePlus can and should've done better.

4
By

OnePlus' new entry-level phone, the Nord N30, brings mostly the same experience as last year's Nord N20, which we thought was a good-looking, serviceable phone with some odd choices. This is all true with this year's device. The phone looks great (unfortunately, it looks better than it feels), and there's not much to complain about with display, processor, and general UI performance at this price point. But the cameras are seriously underwhelming.

Motorola's new Moto G Stylus (2023) with flowers in the background. 1
Moto G Stylus 5G (2023) review: Do you even need a stylus in a midrange phone?

Motorola's new Moto G Stylus 5G gives you a built-in stylus for $400, but are you willing to take all the other compromises?

4
By

As smartphone manufacturers continue to push the limits of pricing, Motorola has gone in the opposite direction. There is a market for affordable smartphones, and Motorola has carved out a niche in this area. With the Moto G Stylus 5G (2023), the company is aiming to create a midrange smartphone with a built-in stylus. Not many midrange smartphones offer this functionality — or smartphones in general for that matter — so this feature alone makes it in the running to be one of the best budget smartphones this year.

Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro 1
Razer DeathAdder V3 Pro review: The best wireless gaming mouse

Razer's best gaming mouse is the king of pointers.

4
By

Choosing the very best gaming mouse involves picking through a plethora of options. Almost every brand involved in the PC industry has a gaming mouse or two available. It can be difficult to single out one as the undisputed champion of gaming mice as many share the same components and it's difficult to make a terrible gaming mouse once you're in the $100 to $200 price range. Razer itself makes countless pointers across a range of price points, targeting different types of gamers.

Amazon Fire Max 11 1
Amazon Fire Max 11 review: I miss Google apps

Amazon's new tablet has some good hardware, but Fire OS is going to frustrate those who like using Google Mobile Services.

4
By

It's been a great couple of months for the tablet, between Apple bringing Final Cut Pro to the iPad, OnePlus' surprisingly polished tablet, Lenovo's super-sized work machine with the best keyboard case around, and the imminent launch of the Pixel Tablet. Now Amazon is jumping into the fray with its most ambitious tablet yet.

NZXT H7 Flow RGB 1
NZXT H7 Flow RGB review: A cooler refresh of a classic PC case

The spacious mid-tower chassis from NZXT received a moderate, yet cool, refresh.

4
By

NZXT has no shortage of PC cases, and among the latest to get a refresh is the NZXT H7 Flow RGB. It's essentially the same as the NZXT H5 Flow RGB I only just reviewed, but comes without the GPU-focused fan and more internal space. At the heart of the chassis is the usual NZXT H series affair with a stunning aesthetic, excellent cable management behind the motherboard tray, solid support for the latest graphics cards, AIO liquid coolers, and plenty of options for storage.

The Casetify MacBook Impact Case on an M2 MacBook Air. 1
Casetify MacBook Impact Case review: Protection and customization with a few compromises

Sure it adds protection and customization to your laptop but it'll make your MacBook less comfortable to use in the process.

4
By

Laptop cases present an interesting tradeoff. Even the best laptop cases add some protection to your computer but come with unnecessary bulk. Theoretically, if you're careful, you shouldn't need a case for your laptop if you use the device at a table or desk often. But accidents do happen, and laptops — especially MacBooks — can be costly to repair. Casetify has tried to add protection to your MacBook while providing customization options that are more visually appealing with the MacBook Impact Case.

Lenovo Yoga Book 9i with screen in vertical mode 1
Lenovo Yoga Book 9i review: It's shockingly good

It's like having a dual-monitor setup, but portable

Whether it’s the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold with its foldable screen, or a Surface Pro tablet that was released in the early 2010s, Windows never seems to work well on a new form factor. In most cases, I’ll walk away from the review saying the product is good for a certain niche, but I’m looking forward to getting back to a real laptop. The Lenovo Yoga Book 9i is a different story though, because this thing is shockingly good.
